Allyson Felix

Allyson Michel Felix was born the 18th of November 1985, in Los Angeles. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix, is a minister at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a elementary school teacher at Balboa Magnet. Felix was a natural athlete and found her passion to sprint at Los Angeles Baptist High School. After her first audition, she placed in the top two at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships for the 200 meters in just 10 weeks. Felix was signed to a career in professional sports with Adidas in 2003. She then enrolled at University of Southern California to pursue a degree in elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic medal at the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record of running the 200m in 22.18. She became the youngest world athlete to win the 200 meters in the 2005 Helsinki World Championships and defended her title again in 2007 beating long-time Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix was consistently at the top of the podium throughout her competitions during the Olympics which took place during Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
