Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer - born August 4th 1981 - is an American actress. Her appearances in films Cowboys & Aliens and The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great & Powerful as well as in the television series Angela's eye Mad Men Hawthorne, and Suits are among her most recognizable works. She is currently starring as Amantha in Rectify which is a Sundance Channel series. Abigail Leigh Spencer has worked on television and film. She became popular with her role in the drama series Rectify and the sci-fi series Timeless. Her acting debut was in All My Children, a soap opera that was filmed in Gulf Breeze Florida. It was for her outstanding performance that she was awarded the Soap Opera Digest Award. Her roles were mostly as guest actors during a number of years on television series. Her role as Dr. Erin Jameson on the TV series Hawthorne was praised by the audience. Her character slowly gained a huge audience thanks to her amazing look and incredible acting talents. In the year 2000, she made her acting debut in the film Campfire Stones. Jekyll This Means War as well as Chasing Mavericks are two other films where she was featured. To honor her performance in Beautiful Now she received a Madrid International Film Festival Award nomination. On the television program Timeless in which she portrayed the character of Lucy Preston, a history professor. Spencer was named a Teen Choice Award nominee for Spencer's role in Timeless. The show has received praise from critics.
